Agudas Israel Housing Association (AIHA) is exclusively partnering with Robertson Bell to recruit a new Treasury Manager position on a permanent basis.
AIHA is part of the national family of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) housing associations. It was set up in 1984 to address the needs of the growing Orthodox Jewish community in the Stamford Hill area, spanning the northern part of London Borough of Hackney and the south Tottenham neighbourhood in Haringey.
For forty years since, AIHA have been providing great homes and care services that enable all their residents to flourish and achieve their full potential.

Mr Taylor is the Director of Finance and has led the Finance Team at AIHA since 2016. He is a Fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Chartered Management Institute. He has over 20 years’ experience in the Housing and Property sectors and his experience is primarily with smaller specialist housing organisations. He is currently also a Board Member of New World Housing Association, another community benefit organisation based in Balham.

Mrs Spitz is AIHA’s Chief Executive and joined the organisation in September 2021. Before moving to AIHA she was Chief Executive at the Interlink Foundation, the membership body for Orthodox Jewish community organisations, where she worked for 25 years. She has wide ranging experience of developing community services, including new build capital projects, strategic planning and organisation transformation.

Ms Basalian joined AIHA in 2008 and has fulfilled various roles within Schonfeld Square Homes and supported housing over the last 12 years. She was appointed as Director of Care Services in 2021, with responsibility for all care and supported housing schemes.

Director of Housing, Mr Tescher joined AIHA in the early 90’s when the organisation had fewer than 50 units. He has been in senior leadership at AIHA for over 25 years and was instrumental in its growth to an organisation with over 900 units. He has wide ranging management responsibilities in both general needs and supported housing.

Peter Joined AIHA on 2nd May 2022 as Director of Property, and is a qualified Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Building Engineer with over 35 years’ experience in the housing sector, in particular in London and Essex. He is committed to providing good quality services and puts residents at the very heart of what he does.
