I’m partnering with this organisation to recruit a Temporary Finance Officer for an exciting short-term contract to reconcile a backlog. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a purpose-driven team, all while enjoying a fully remote working pattern. 

The Temporary Finance Officer’s key responsibilities will include:

  • Take charge of reconciling multicurrency bank accounts and tackling an extensive backlog, making a vital impact from day one.
  • Showcase your precision by processing bank charges, interest, income, and expenses to achieve seamless reconciliations.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency by reviewing and posting credit card transactions.
  • Play a key role in clearing depreciations from the fixed asset register, keeping financial records up to date and in top shape.

This role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their accounting skills, offering exposure to a variety of responsibilities!

You will need:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central - this is essential.
  • Strong Bookkeeping Skills – confident to reconcile bank accounts with accuracy and precision.
  • Experience handling multi-currency transaction.
  • Charity experience is highly desired, but by no means essential. 
  • To be capable of quickly managing a large backlog while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
