We are excited to partner with this purpose driven organisation to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a 12-month contract. This role offers the chance to work within a collaborative, supportive team while taking ownership of vital financial processes. As the organisation navigates exciting changes, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless financial reporting.

In this Senior Management Accountant role, you will:

  • Lead month-end processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
  • Oversee forecasting, providing detailed variance analysis and actionable insights.
  • Manage key financial projects, including ensuring alignment and consistent reporting across legacy systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders and directors, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive improvements in financial reporting and contribute to the rollout of Power BI, enabling self-service reporting capabilities.
  • Proactively monitor and manage timelines for reporting and financial deliverables, fostering collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Possess significant management accounting experience, including forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Have a proven track record of working in a corporate environment or large, complex organisations.
  • Demonstrate advanced Excel skills, with experience in Power BI highly desirable.
  • Be confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and adept at presenting financial insights clearly and persuasively.
  • Exhibit a proactive, personable, and solutions-focused approach, capable of building strong relationships across diverse teams.
