In this Purchase Ledger role, you will:

  • Process a high volume of invoices each week, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies with a keen eye for detail.
  • Work closely with both external and internal stakeholders to improve processes and enhance efficiency within the finance department.
  • Take full ownership of a specific part of the ledger, driving accountability and ensuring the timely completion of tasks.
  • Use your finance expertise to handle payment runs, ensuring smooth operations across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in double-entry bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of the financial processes involved.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, enabling you to confidently manage and analyse financial data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A basic understanding of VAT, allowing you to contribute to related tasks as required.
