We are delighted to partner with a leading organisation to recruit a Programme Finance Officer. This role offers a unique chance to support vital programmes, enhance financial processes, and contribute to impactful global initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Review, check, and approve financial reports from partners to facilitate timely payments during reporting cycles.
  • Assist in training partners on reporting templates, processes, and balance sheet requirements.
  • Collaborate on process improvements, such as simplifying financial templates and preparing for upcoming reporting cycles.
  • Play a key role in implementing and testing a new grant management system.
  • Record and post timesheets and support month-end processes, including journals and allocations.
  • Contribute to donor reporting, fund balance reconciliations, and partner account management.

This role is ideal for someone keen to gain exposure to programme finance, compliance, and process improvements. The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Hold a degree or be part-qualified in a relevant financial qualification.
  • Have strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, SUMIFs, VLOOKUPs and INDEX MATCH.
  • Bring prior finance experience, ideally within an NGO, although candidates coming from other sectors are invited to apply.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, working effectively with managers and partners.
  • Be adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
