The Role

As a Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining financial processes within a fast-growing organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the month-end process up to trial balance

  • Supporting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, helping to shape the financial direction of the organisation

  • Monitoring budgets and providing detailed financial reporting using Xero and Excel

  • Assisting with year-end reviews and supporting auditors during the audit process

  • Helping to design and improve financial infrastructure and processes

  • Assisting with scheme viability assessments and budget pack development

Person Specification

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in month-end finance processes, up to trial balance

  • Comfortable supporting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts

  • Familiar with year-end processes and working with auditors

  • Hands-on and flexible — happy to support across numerous financial areas

  • Collaborative, team-focused, and eager to grow in their role

  • Ideally rom a housing, charity, or private property background
