Management Accountant

They’re now looking to welcome a motivated and aspiring Management Accountant to join their friendly, supportive finance team in this newly created role. You’ll be offered hands-on training and development across a broad range of finance responsibilities, with support to grow and evolve in your role over time. What you’ll be doing:
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you’ll be a key player in the team – supporting across all aspects of management accounting while being mentored and trained to eventually take full ownership of these areas. Duties include:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
• Supporting with the year-end process and statutory accounts
• Producing reports for budget holders and working closely with teams across the organisation
• Helping monitor spend and track performance against budget
• Getting involved in projects to improve processes and reporting
• Learning and developing new finance skills every step of the way

What they’re looking for:

• Someone studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
• Experience in a finance support role with exposure to management accounting.
• A confident communicator who enjoys working with others and is keen to learn
• A proactive, positive mindset with good attention to detail
