Robertson Bell is thrilled to partner with a prominent organisation to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This role offers the chance to join a dynamic finance team, focusing on property management and both core and non-core services, while contributing to month-end reporting and financial performance monitoring.

In this role, you will:

  • Take ownership of closing down the month-end, including journals, accruals, and VAT reports.
  • Collaborate with operational colleagues to monitor financial performance and manage budgets across various areas.
  • Manage both day-to-day financial tasks and the comprehensive budgeting cycle, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of budgets for board approval.
  • Address queries, provide financial evidence, and contribute to both monthly management accounting and year-end activities.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including middle management and regional teams, managing services worth multi-millions.

This role is based in North London, with a hybrid working arrangement of two days per week in the office. You will enjoy a competitive salary, generous annual leave of 25 days plus bank holidays and full study support, including exam fee coverage and study leave.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Be part-qualified and committed to completing their qualification, with strong technical knowledge of month-end processes, journals, and accruals.
  • Have practical management accounting experience, with the ability to engage effectively with operational teams.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, with the initiative to suggest improvements and the drive to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be proactive, humble, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
