Robertson Bell is proud to partner with a leading Not-for-Profit to recruit an Interim Transactional Supervisor for an initial 9-month contract. Based in Central London, this opportunity offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with just two days a week in the office.
The Interim Transactional Supervisor’s responsibilities include:
- Take charge of the Purchase Ledger by authorising high-value payments and ensuring the financial data is accurate.
- Lead and inspire a team of Finance Officers - deliver hands-on training, provide guidance, and be the go-to problem solver for complex queries and escalations.
- Foster and strengthen supplier relationships, ensuring seamless collaboration and trust.
- Own key financial processes, from expenses and payment runs to aged creditor reports, making sure every penny is perfectly allocated.
- Dive into bank reconciliations as needed, showcasing your attention to detail and ability to keep things balanced.

The successful Interim Transactional Supervisor will have:
- To be experienced working within the finance team of a charitable organisation is essential.
- Experience working in an Accounts Payable role – having managed an Accounts Payable department.
- Used numerous finance systems and Excel, with the ability to use VLOOKUPs, formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience managing a team of finance professionals.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for detail.
