Interim Senior Financial Accountant

Robertson Bell are supporting a unique, London-based, Central Government organisation to recruit an interim Senior Financial Accountant on a three to six month contract. 

This is a hybrid role that will require office presence twice per week. Alternative locations are available.

The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for; 

- Overseeing the production of the monthly financial accounts and reports. 

- Inputting returns into the Oscar system. 

- Ensuring Non-Current Assets are accurately accounted for. 

- Managing two experienced reports, covering cash and bank management. 

- Preparation of the organisations ARA, dependent on the length of contract. 

The successful candidate will; 

- Have a background in Cental Government financial accounting and reporting, with up to date knowledge of the relevant accounting standards. 

- Be a qualified accountant. 

- Communicate effectively in both a written and spoken capacity. 

- Competently use MS Excel to at least an intermediate standard.
