Robertson Bell are looking for a talented and experienced Rent and Service Charge Specialist to join an organisation during a pivotal time of change on a 6-month interim basis. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in maintaining the seamless operation of the financial processes.
You'll be responsible for:
- Preparing service charge actuals and playing a key role in the external audit process
- Resolving resident queries related to rents and service charges with efficiency and professionalism
- Providing vital support to the wider finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Assisting the annual rent setting process and collaborating with the housing team
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A minimum of 1 years' experience in rent and service charge accounting
- In-depth knowledge of housing regulations, rent setting practices, and service charge management
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-driven attitude and a passion for delivering results
- Ideally experience within social housing, however, commercial service charges experince or local authority service charges experience will still be valuable
