Robertson Bell are supporting this organisation to recruit an Interim Payroll Manager on an initial six-month contract, which has the potential to be extended or go permanent. The head office is based in Kent, but they are either offering remote working or one day a week on site.   

The Interim Payroll Manager will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all payroll documents are processed accurately and employees are paid on time each month.
  • Overseeing and managing the payroll team, while handling and resolving any escalated payroll queries.
  • Conducting end-of-month reporting, including reviewing salary increases and KPI data analysis.
  • Assisting with payroll processing during payroll cycles and managing post-payroll run queries.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a dynamic payroll team and take on a variety of key responsibilities, from managing payroll processing to leading a small team and handling escalated queries.

The successful Interim Payroll Manager will have:

  • Strong experience in payroll management, ideally with familiarity in SAP or Workday systems.
  • Team leadership experience is an advantage, but not mandatory. A background with transferable payroll skills can also be considered.
  • Strong communication and decision-making abilities.
