Robertson Bell is partnering with a prestigious Higher Education organisation to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for an initial 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic finance team in a leadership role, offering hybrid working from their London offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a small finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Take ownership of budgeting and forecasting, providing key financial insights.
• Oversee year-end submissions and manage the external audit process.
• Ensure all statutory reporting requirements to relevant bodies are completed accurately and on time.

The successful candidate:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Higher Education sector experience is essential.
• Proven team management skills with a hands-on leadership approach.
• Strong statutory accounting experience, including audit and financial reporting.
• Immediately available or available on short notice.
