Are you a skilled Finance Transactions Lead ready to enhance the performance of a busy Accounts Payable function? A long-established not-for-profit organisation is looking for an Interim Finance Transactions Lead to join their team on a fixed-term basis. This vital role will oversee the day-to-day Accounts Payable operations, ensuring invoices are processed efficiently and payment approvals are handled promptly. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to drive better processes, create meaningful reporting, and deliver a reliable service to suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing hands-on leadership to the Accounts Payable team, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Identifying and addressing inefficiencies, ensuring payment approvals happen on time.
  • Delivering process training to support ongoing compliance and high performance.
  • Producing detailed Accounts Payable reports for leadership to monitor progress and outcomes.
  • Maintaining a collaborative approach to managing high volumes of invoices.

  • Proven experience managing Accounts Payable or other finance transactional functions.
  • A strong background in building relationships and holding stakeholders accountable.
  • A track record of identifying and implementing process improvements in transactional finance.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on tasks when required.
