Interim Finance Business Partner

Robertson Bell are supporting a well-known, Manchester-based, public sector organisation to recruit an interim Finance Business Partner on an initial six month contract.

This role will support the Digital and Technology directorate, a fast-moving space with a number of ongoing projects and programmes of work.

The interim Finance Business Partner will be responsible for;

• Providing analysis, insights and commentaries on the management accounts (not preparing).
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the directorate.
• Reviewing and providing assurance on new business cases.
• Answering queries from stakeholders in the directorate.

The successful applicant will;

• Be a qualified accountant with PQE in a similar finance business partnering role.
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build influential relationships with stakeholders.
• Possess strong Excel skills to analyse and manipulate large data sets.

Prior experience working in the public sector and/or supporting a technology and digital directorate is highly desirable.
