Interim Assistant Accountant

I’m partnering with this organisation to recruit a Interim Assistant Accountant for an exciting 12-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a purpose-driven team, all while enjoying a flexible working arrangement that requires two days travel to their office per week. 

The Interim Assistant Accountant key responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for reconciling the balance sheets in preparation for month end. 
• Journals, accruals and prepayments. 
• Migrating the weekly income from one system to another. 
• The opportunity to support on the management accounting for a small entity. 

This role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their accounting skills, offering exposure to a variety of responsibilities!

You will need:

• Accounting experience - including supporting the accounts department during year-end and month-end close processes.
• Studying towards or partially qualified in accounting (AAT Level 3/4 or bookkeeping qualifications).
• Strong Excel skills, proficient with pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas; ability to manipulate data and create reports.
