Robertson Bell are excited to announce our partnership with this growing organisation as they recruit a newly created Financial Accountant role on a permanent basis. With a significant increase in turnover and ongoing expansion plans, this newly created role provides the chance to shape audit and reporting processes while working within a highly collaborative finance team.

As the Financial Accountant, you will:

• Take full ownership of the external audit process, acting as the primary liaison with Auditors, driving timelines, and ensuring all deliverables are met with precision.
• Collaborate proactively with finance teams to guarantee seamless year-end preparations, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
• Oversee and optimise intercompany reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and ensuring transactions are accurately recorded to maintain financial integrity.
• Enhance financial reporting processes, delivering insightful monthly balance sheets and variance analysis that drive informed decision-making.
• Lead the adoption of new financial reporting standards, embedding best practices and strengthening internal controls to future-proof compliance.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a fully ACA qualified Accountant.
• Have experience in external audit, ideally from a top 30 audit firm.
• Be seeking a move into industry from audit, or have made a move into industry looking for a financial reporting role.
• Be adaptable, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
