This innovative organisation is seeking a Finance Manager (Fixed Assets) to join their talented team and oversee the management of an extensive fixed asset portfolio, following an exciting period of change. This newly created role is a key leadership position within the finance function, offering the chance to shape policies, and drive innovation in processes and systems across the entirety of the fixed assets portfolio.

They key duties of this Finance Manager (Fixed Assets) role are as follows:

  • Oversee the accurate maintenance and reconciliation of the fixed asset register, ensuring all entries align with organisational policies.
  • Lead the preparation of financial reporting on fixed assets, including statutory disclosures and regulatory submissions.
  • Develop and refine policies for asset capitalisation and accounting, ensuring compliance with the latest standards and best practices.
  • Provide expert technical advice on asset accounting matters to both internal teams and external auditors.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for streamlining and automating asset management processes.
  • Lead a team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and development.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Fully qualified as an accountancy professional.
  • Ideally, experience working in property, real estate or equivalent, although this is not essential.
