Robertson Bell is proud to partner with a public sector body in Central London, to recruit a permanent Finance Business Partner paying £40,000 to £45,000 for a permanent opportunity. In this Finance Business Partner role, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with key academic and non-financial stakeholders to thoroughly understand and discuss their budgetary requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Take full ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process, playing a central role in the seamless execution of these financial procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive management accounts, including insightful commentary on month-end financial performance and variances.
  • Continuously develop your skills in tandem with ongoing system enhancements, actively contributing to the optimization of financial processes within the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience within the management accountancy function, being able to pick up on transactional discrepancies in month end processes.
  • Exposure to the budgeting and forecasting process, wanting to take ownership and accountability within this remit.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ideally have experience within the education sector.
