This reputable not-for-profit organisation is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with budget holders and engage in meaningful finance projects. If you're looking to make an impact in a role that’s as strategic as it is hands-on, this could be the perfect fit.

The key duties of this Finance Business Partner are as follows:

  • Act as a finance subject matter expert across your allocated departments, providing insights through management packs and variance analysis to aid decision-making.
  • Provide critical support a rolling three-year financial planning process to enable effective future overhead management.
  • Engage in annual budget setting, providing insights and financial management support to stakeholders across departments.
  • Participate in finance projects, like process improvements, systems upgrades, or supporting specialised initiatives as they arise.
  • Hold critical oversight of the month end management accounts process, reviewing the work of the team and collating the data into a comprehensive management information pack for the leadership team to review.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally fully qualified, though candidates who are part-qualified with strong experience will also be considered.
  • Background in Management Accounting or Finance Business Partnering.
  • And attitude to work that means they are ready to roll up their sleeves, adapt to the needs of the team.
  • Ideally, experience working in the charity sector, although candidates without this are still strongly encouraged to apply.
