Robertson Bell are excited to partner with an iconic British charity to recruit a permanent Accounts Payable Supervisor role. In this varied role, you will be managing a team of dedicated Accounts Payable Assistants, but also be delving into a multitude of transactional duties!

In this Accounts Payable Supervisor position, you will:

  • Lead a wide variety of accounts payable duties such as BACS runs, remittance proposals and purchase orders.
  • Manage a team of Accounts Payable Assistants, conducting regular 1:1s, yearly appraisals and assessing their work.
  • Oversee corporate credit cards and complete the subsequent reporting, seeing through the process from start to finish.
  • Looking at unapproved items, using an inquisitive mindset to investigate any discrepancies to get them paid in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the introduction of a new scanning system for the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience in Accounts Payable duties, being able to handle a wide range of different responsibilities.
  • Overseen a high volume of corporate credit card processes.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with different people.
  • Be a proficient user of excel and be able to perform functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s.
  • Staff management is essential.
